I have a 23hp vtwin briggs on my zero turn. For some reason, the valve clearance on the exhaust valve for one cylinder, keeps closing up. It eventually gets tight enough that it loses compression for that cylinder. I can reset clearance to .007" and it runs fine. I am tightening the lock nut as much as I dare, but it eventually does it again. I'm afraid it will end up causing a burned valve. Plus, I'm gettin tired of adjusting valves.
