Generac 4000XL low oil light comes on. Yet oil is not low.

Used the generator for about 10 mins to run a sump pump.  Turned it off and moved under cover as it started to rain heavy and lots of lightening.  When I went to start it after moving it, it would run about 10 seconds, the low oil light flickered on and unit shut down.  Attempts to restart would follow the same pattern.  Oil is filled to proper level.  Where is the sensor that controls the light and shutoff.  Is there a replacement part which can easily be replaced?
Thanks
