Personal Pace Cut Quality

I have 2 Toro Personal Pace mowers. One newer and one older model. BOTH don't cut great !! Basically they miss grass !! As you make the next pass you look at where you've been and there they are !!! Blades sticking up. Blade sharp- check !! Deck clean- check !!

How long is the grass? Is it damp?  Is the engine running at the proper speed? What blades are you using?

All of those have been looked at. Got Toro blades from dealer, engine speed good. Other stuff is normal. I sharpened another Toro blade that I had today and cut with the older model. Seemed a bit better. Who knows. I know with my newer one it wasn't too long after I started using it that I noticed it missing blades of grass here and there. It's not terrible but I guess I'm picky !!And I'm walking walking super fast either.
