Craftsmen 247.881773

Carb leaking gas. Wondering where I can find a bowl gasket for this thing? Been looking for a while now.

Welcome! Can you give us the make and model of the engine? That would really help.

I am looking for numbers from the ENGINE. The machine parts list does not identify it but suspect it is a Chinese manufactured Powermore, you may have to replace the carburetor.

Dang my dad would warn me about these engines. He was a line mechanic at Briggs. They are Not made for repairmen. Thank you for looking.

Well you should know better!Unfortunately that is becoming more common, I am glad I am out of the repair business.

Here is the link to the parts store for my snowblower. I ordered MTD 951-11589 Fuel Bowl Gasket and it fits perfect. Looks like MTD is the Powermore parent company brand for now.

Which is also branded Craftsmen? I miss the 90’s.

MTD uses Powermore engines on their equipment and supply the parts, I suspect other OEMs have them under an in house brand as well. A lot of that stuff is not serviceable, it is so cheap to produce that parts are not available.
