Kohler cv15s issues

Looking for some info...
I have a JD LT150 with a K cv15s. It has almost no hours on it as I bought it used from an elderly couple. It has ran great untill this fall. It was blowing smoke and I found oil blowing into carb from ohv/ccv tube. Did a carb kit, head gasket, (didn't need to do head gasket but was there so...). After all back together, it started great then started chocking out. I pulled the tube from ohv and it runs great and no oil blowing out cover. As soon as I even pass the tube in front of cover it chokes out. Literally... not even connecting... just about 1/4 in in front of cover. What gives??

Oil level perfect. No gas in it.. anymore.

That was the issue that started everything.

The gas in the oil caused blowby and was filling carb with gas and oil spraying from the OHV breather tube.

I flushed and changed everything oil related (including filter), replaced head gasket, rebuilt carb complete (dipped carb for the reccomended 2 hours even). I also put in an inline fuel shut off to prevent slow leaking and oil contamination.

So... why would connecting the ccv tube cause choking out of the engin. I can watch that it is NOT spraying oil into carb with it hooked up. All seems clean and clear just chokes out as soon as I hook up the tube???

Believe me... when it was blowing by it would gush oil-gas mix thru breather into carb. Hard to miss. It was like Niagra Falls.

    Cordially,

Yup,  everything that could be replaced was. Everything that could be rebuilt was.

If you take out air filter temporarily does it still happen?

Yes, It still happens. However, I can watch for anything being pulled into cab... and I see nothing. Not like when the oil gas mix was blowing by. Then you could see a flood coming from the breather tube into the carb.
