snowblower help question

I have a 10 he 26 inch mtd 2 stage snowblower- I recently replaced all the belts along with yearly maintenance and now the belts for the auger snapped, I figured I caught a rock in there cause they bothsnapped, I replaced them and now it is burning the belts off - is there a bering 1-in the impeller area that could have gone causing it to bind and burn up? Please HELP!!!!

Check the alignment of the pulleys to ensure the belt may not be slipping off during operation. Plus make sure the auger housing is secured to the frame without any play, which could also cause a belt to slip and tear up.
