Kawasaki FH661V-BS05 4 Stroke Engine 24 HP

The engines shuts down after 4-5 minutes of running, like it is our of gas but there is fuel going to the carb. Engine seems to get hot  but cant really tell if it is overheating.

If you shoot some carb cleaner into carb when it dies, will it keep running?
Make sure cooling fins are clean, sometimes mice build nest in the engine shrouds.

If you did not run the fuel dry at the end of a season, or if it sat along time between running I would suspect that the fuel in the carburetor float bowl went bad and gel deposits from ethanol fuel are floating around in it. This will plug or cut fuel to main jet. You should test the gas from the tank for water contamination. drain some into a glass jar and look at condition, if contaminates are found then drain all gas and also replace fuel filter.  Try to run only Non ethanol gas in all your small engines
