260z pro

Blades slow down and eventually stop when lowering deck. Engages and turns full speed at highest deck level. Belts are new ans pulleys in good shape. Help!

    Blades will pick up speed again when deck is raised..

    With the deck lowered check belt routing and tension, it is either loose or dragging on a guide.

    Thanks Roy. While I was checking as you suggested, I discovered the tension arm was frozen up. After freeing it up it's working. Thanks!
