No spark

No power to the voltage regulator when i try to start mower

    What is the model # of your engine and what is this on?
    What problem exactly do you have?

    Toro z master, Kohler command pro 20,,
    md. No. For motor is cv20s,,ser. No.is 3115001401. ,plugs dont have any spark when I hold them against the block, ,i checked all the safety switches they are ok, i put a new pto switch in and 2 new plugs, do you think it could be the ignition switch ,what should I check next, thank you Fred Clayton

    On your toro, does it have SAM setup?

    Spark advance module, some have it some do not. It requires 12 volts to operate the ignition coils. There will be two wire connections at ignition coil, one for trigger and one for kill.

    The fixed cd system does not require 12 volts. Only one wire connection for kill at ignition coil.
