snowed in pa

help please  have a 5 hp tecumseh snowblower that wont start. it ran fine 1 month ago i was out in snowstorm last week and couldnt reach full throttle speed.  gradually the power died completely   . i put on new carb  new plug,  fresh gas and it still wont start.   any
help would be a great help  thanks

    Is any fuel flowing to the carb? If you press the primer bulb enough times, does fuel come out of the carb? If you drop the fuel bowl, is there fuel in it? I'm wondering if the fuel is not making it from the tank to the carburetor. Check to see if there's a filter screen in the tank that's obstructed.

    yes  press primer few times and gas runs from front of carb .  i was thinking maybe a sheared or partially sheard flywheel key

    also when i changed carb over to new one gas flow was heavy from tank  thru hose to carb
