Craftsman 5000 riding mower keeps turning belts

I had a belt come to pieces on me and I replaced the belt and it lasted 30 minutes, went and got another belt cause I needed to see what was going on and when the deck is engaged the belt is somehow getting flipped backwards between one pulley to the next then back to normal, what would cause this? I did notice I have one bearing giving slack in one of the manderrings could that cause the belt to roll? If so is it suggested to replace all three due to all of em having the same wear and tear

If your damaging belts that quickly the I would check that all belt guards/guides are in place. Make sure there is nothing caught above the blades, best to take blades off. Check all pulleys, make sure idler bracket isn't jammed with a rock/stick or cracked.

Found the issue, the mower originally had a 54" deck and someone put a 48" with short spindles and the belt was being put in a bind and breaking, putting the correct deck on currently to straighten it out.
