Hydrostatic transaxle

Hello I have a Murray Yard King Garden Mower, ive been having problems with it not wanting to move after about 20 minutes of mowing, if i depress the reverse lever a few times it starts to move in reverse, so i can then depress the forward pedal and it will move about 6 ft, but then stop, this started late last year, so i took it to get repaired and they said it is an unserviceable transaxle, but have read and seen people open them up and rebuild the pumps and a few just add or change the fluid and it fixed it, id rather do the later, its a Murray Yard King Riding Mower, 2000 model 46in, modle number 465615x99a (bought it at the military base), i believe it has a peerless vst 205 trans axle, its more mower than i needed cause i only use it to cut grass, i have 2 vacant city lots 50x100 and my own yard is 1/10 of that to cut, i want to try your Peerless transmistion vst oil kit, do you think this might get it to work right?
Thanks for any advice
