Stator alignment on B&S 12.5 HP OHV engine
Have been rebuilding my parents gummed up ride on engine...
I nnly know enough to be dangerous, so it has been bit of a learning experience..
I did not pay attention to positioning when removing stator, so when putting the it back on, there is a couple of positions it appears it could go...
1 as shown in attached picture, but it will
2 also fit with leads connected one turn ( ie one bolt hole position) clockwise from current position.
Have read all the B& S manuals i can download, but none show stator alignment layouts..
can anyone advise correct positioning or how to proceed?
