Non-Running Briggs and Stratton Mower

So, I have a MTD riding mower with a Briggs and Stratton VTWIN. It ran most of the summer last year and quit half way through. I still can’t get the dang thing to turn over. So far I’ve replaced the solenoid, the starter, battery, gas, spark plugs, and most recently the safety switch. It will crank when I do the old screw driver test. I am completely lost as of now. Is there something I’m missing or should try next? Thank you all in advance.

By the way, when I turn the key I get no sound, at all.

I have a Craftsman which I just learned to overhaul myself. 3 questions for you.
    1. What kind of carburetor do you have?
    2. Does it have an external fuel cutoff? If yes, check that connection!
    3. Do you have a fuse? It may be blown.

Sounds more and more like a blown fuse. Look for one of those flat, 2-pronged fuses. Mine is a 15 amp
