Should simply connect up with you losing the lights as the dual circuit provided AC for the lights so they only operated while the engine was running.
If you wanting the lights working as they do now simply remove the blue wire and connect to the red wire of the fuel solenoid (afterfire solenoid). This way it operates off the L terminal of the keyswitch. Your lights then comes on when ever your keyswitch is on even if the engine is not running. That should be the only wiring difference.
