ADD Electric Start to B&S PowerBuilt 344cc 12.5

Anyone attempted to ADD Electric Start to a B&S PowerBuilt 344cc 12.5 HP on a "DR Field and Brush Mower - Walk Behind"

    if the diagrams don't show that it has one I wouldn't recommend it. it would be very difficult you would have to replace the flywheel with one that has teeth on the side of it, get an engine shroud with the notch cut out of it, and you would have to also buy the starter. rather than that. I wouldn't tempt it.

    Unless you could find a donor unit it wouldn't be economically feasible. You would also need the battery, alternator and wiring, it would get pretty expensive especially for an older unit.
