White tractor by AGCO Oil Leak, doesnt start

I just got a new lawn tractor by White with a 12.5 Briggs and Stratton. It turns over and starts kicking but it doesnt run. I cleaned out the carb, and there is fuel getting to the engine so I know that is not the issue. It leaks oil on the right side (the right side if youre sitting on the seat looking forward) of the tractor but I dont know where the leak is from. Any possible fixes or diagnosis would be super helpful. Thank you

Sounds you got the older L-head engine being a 12.5 hp engine.
First you got to get running then worry about the oil leak. It is possible that the valve clearances have closed  up too much and you losing all the compression. But have you tried putting fuel directly into the cylinder to see if it fires up temporarily?
Once you get running then clean the engine to look for the oil leak. Sometime it requires using UV dye to find the source. Most times oil will run down due gravity but there are times it gets blown around otherwise.
