IGNITION COIL QUESTION

I have a Powersmart DB7659A-22 snowblower with a 208 cc stormforce engine.  The unit starts and runs fine, but I can't shut it off without pulling sparkplug wire off plug.  There is a black wire comes from where spark plug wire goes too that I found just hanging. If I ground this to block it will kill engine.  I cant figure out where it'd go. I called manufacturer and they say I need a new ignition coil?  any ideas?

Then you don't need a new coil. You just need reattach the kill wire to the Run/Stop switch.
