Tecuseum snowblower with wire to nowhere

Just picked up this 9hp snowblower & runs for few minutes then stalls, so cleaning fuel tank, new fuel line, rebuilding carb, u know all the first things that come top mind, But, when I pulled the fuel tank I find a single black wire coming out from behind the flywheel, single male plug on end of wire, I see nowhere to plug it in. Is this wire for an optional accessory, like for a light maybe??
I;m puzzled appreciate any help, like to use her before all the snow melts away!!
regards from Ontario, Canada
Roy

Welcome aboard!! You are correct, it is for a light or heated grips.

Roy is most likely right but for more ideas or suggestions any chance of some numbers off the engine?
