The John Deere PN is MIA10927 for the twin barrel or you can lookup the individual parts if you want to get them from Kawasaki. Sorry it is one of those proprietary deals John Deere has. Even if we had the Kawasaki kit PN we would still could not get it. Looks like they are asking $68.07 for the kit.

My friend owns his own shop and he said he gets most of his kaw parts from our local jd.

For me it depends on the speed needed. Usually I can wait a few days so I order through a Kawasaki distributor whenever I can. That $20 shipping charge my local dealer likes to hit does get rough at times especially on small orders.

Most US base sites can't even look-up the Kawasaki engines used on JD equipment but I do have a resource that I can look-up these engines and get the Kawasaki PNs instead the JD PNs. If you buy from JD you more than likely you find JD PN label slap over the Kawasaki PN label or at least that occurs here. There are items that are JD proprietary items even when you can get the Kawasaki PN like the in tank fuel filter for the 445 rider.

This making items proprietary is just a way to force us to deal with the local dealers. Whenever I can I go around the dealer. For example the throttle I needed for a Z950R engine JD wants $68.95 but I was able to source it at under $30 plus shipping and that include throttle link holder which JD wants an additional $7.16 after I had the Kawasaki PN.

This bypassing the local dealers was how I was repairing many Stihl Zama carburetors but Stihl has proprietary Zama parts that are used only on the Stihl line. Now the Zama parts cost up to 4X what I was paying and what worst the local dealer can't even cross the Zama numbers or lookup some of the carbs that on the Stihl line. I need to email Stihl every time I need a Zama part number part cross. I had one dealer that couldn't even find the HS56 hedger in his parts catalog from Stihl. What worst is the local dealer don't even have the parts in stock and hits me with a $15-$20 shipping charge every time I needed parts. Because of this I no longer work on Stihl items so I just send the customer to the dealer that charges $100/hr to repair these units. Most these customers are now just dropping Stihl products as they are not going to pay this on a $200 chainsaw. All the dealer does is to slap another carburetor on them.

Makes sense, he said everybody wants there fixed yesterday😂.
Not really sure where he gets his Stihl parts, I was assuming since the local jd is a stihl dealer from there. I will ask next time I go there. I believe his shop rate is $80/hr.

My shop rate is $45/hr + VAT with a $70/ hr on-site rate. Just a pain to try pack up all the tools I need for field work. Even if I had a mobile enclosed trailer [which need to be dual axle version due equipment weight] I would still charge the $70/hr rate.

It is hard to secure the two 44" top and bottom cabinets, plus the 2 26" top and bottom cabinets, a gas engine air compressor, an electric generator, drill press, grinder, and a 12 ton shop press for mobile transport. Plus there is other shop equipment and parts that would be needed for field work such tire changers and engine hoists.

But we need to get back on the OP topic.

I probably should clarify his shop rate is $80/hr for warranty work but $60/hr for all other work, golf carts, atvs, mowers, etc

Yes that is how JD has it listed. You get all the internal o-rings and the needle valve plus the external gaskets. O-rings are considered gaskets. You even get the two main jets o-rings which many carb kits don't even include. Of course if you need a float or other part they are included and must be ordered separately. I was just inside one these carbs yesterday replacing a throttle shaft.

Here is an image of what is included. Not all external gasket will be needed at times.
