Husqvarna HU550FH (22") 140cc High Wheel Self-Propelled Lawn Mower thats DEAD !

I have Husqvarna HU550FH (22") 140cc High Wheel Self-Propelled Lawn Mower thats DEAD !
It was given to me, I hope to revive and use it !
Below I've posted pictures of mower and manufacturers model/serial # plate.
Just looking for logical diagnosis procedures to see if I can bring life to mower !
I don't know why it died !
What I do know is that when you squeeze both bars you can pull the starter cord freely !
Maybe there's an inherent problem with this machine ....I don't know !
THANKS !!

Sounds like you don't even know how to operate a self propelled mower when you squeeze both the engine brake and self propel bars at the same when you trying to start it.

From this I assume you know nothing about small engines and since there is no specific repair manual available for the Briggs 9P702-0162-F1 engine you need to pick a general small engine repair and study it. Available at many auto parts stores.

I do know carburetors do give a lot problems on all mower engines.

Nope never had a self propelled mower .
Did find manual online and haven't printed it yet .
I ASSUMED that both bars had to be engaged to start .
I know enough to look for the usual things spark, clean fuel etc.
I'll probably drop the bowl on the carb and clean there too  !
I was wondering if these models had an inherent problem rather than the usual small engine problems !

Sorry but I don't time to hold your hand and do the very basics for you.You said  you knew the basics of making sure fuel system was clean so I didn't need to respond.

Otherwords I got my own shop to run with a lot worst problems like hacked wiring harnesses to piece back together. Or like the mower I just spent over hours on where the operator tried mowing bricks.
