Snowblower no longer blows??

Hi new here trying to learn how to fix my snowblower.

Had a big snow yesterday, I thought I had it ready to go.

Starts fine. But it will not blow any significant amount of snow. It acts like it refuses to pick the snow up. This thing use to shoot a rooster tail 15 feet of snow into the air.

I had the lower scrapping strip replaced last summer as it was shot (Its just below the paddle blades-it scraps the ground as you clean the snow).

Before I start throwing parts at it. Would I need to replace the paddles? Is there a way to check?

Unit is about 15 years old.

snowblower is:

You might want to check your auger belt first.  When they start slipping they don't throw much snow, if any.  In the middle of your snowblower there is a plastic cover.  Loosen the bolts holding it on and lift it up and out.  You will see your auger belt and your drive belt.  If you squeeze your auger handle and the belt is still loose, it needs tightening.  I would search Utube for a video on how to do that or if you still have your manual, use it.

He has a single stage, the belt is under a cover on the left side. It could be slipping but more than likely the paddles are worn out and need to be replaced

Thanks to your help I got the new rotor blades installed and for 6 passes it worked great! Now I Shredded the drive belt (note:I did have to remove the drive belt to install the new rotor blades)

What didn't I do correctly? Rotor blades spins freely with no resistance.

Not too much to go wrong here, the belt likely was on it's last legs. Check the white pulley for damage before installing a new belt.

White pulley is destroyed as well. Would that be called an idler pulley an is now offered as a metal part? ( 559290)

The white is now comes as black is pn 95-2672. Now of course the 55-9290 could be bad too.
