Coleman Powermate 6875 Help (gx340)

I recently acquired a Coleman Powermate 6875 with a Honda GX340 engine. I was told the carburetor was bad and it was missing a few parts. I cleaned the carburetor and switched the main jet with a carb from another gx340 off a pressure washer for troubleshooting. I compared the floats and everything was within range. I purchased an air filter assembly and the manual choke which I noticed was missing. When I was installing them I noticed that the solenoid to the top right of the pull start does not have wires. The carburetor did not have a solenoid at the base of it either. I have searched a handful of hours for a model specific shop manual and an auto throttle assembly (I think?) and I have had no luck. I broadened the search and still nothing. Looked long into an automatic throttle on other models and I'm lost with wiring. What am I missing here?

I can get the generator started using starter fluid but it shuts down after. I removed the fuel filter for troubleshooting and that will get replaced when I have her running. I noticed the muffler is missing bolts to the cylinder head. I have attached pictures of what's all here, as well as where the butterfly is positioned with the choke on and off. I appreciate any and all help.

Thanks in advance,

Kyle

The file sizes of the pictures were too large to upload. I am uploading them to dropbox now and I'll post the link here shortly when it's finished.

Thanks again,

Kyle

The output wattage isn't the model number. Look for the serial number for the model number. Should start with PC or PM.

Well I can not look-up anything without model and serial numbers. Just because it a GX390 doesn't help much as there are 100's of different engines with that model number. The engine's type and serial are engrave on the engine's crankcase and would be need to look engine specific parts. But even having that won't get us to the generator's setup as usually auto throttle control circuits are provided by the generator's manufacture so I got to have the generator's model number.

Now you can get a printed service manual for the Honda from Honda stores on Ebay or Amazon as Honda does not release full service manuals in PDF; just the printed ones. And you can download a shop manual for the engine but the shop manual is basically useless. But for the generator there is not specific one, just some generic service manuals that cover most of the basics.

Now I can PM you a couple links to what Briggs put out for their generators as training and service manuals if that will help. Otherwise you would need to carry the Powermate to a shop that can service it.

I'm sorry, I completely misread your first response.

Please pm me the links if you can. Thanks again for your help.

Sent and I have email Powermate to see other info they provide. Still would need the engine info.

The 4 on the last number was kind of hard to make out but I'm thinking it's a 4. Thanks again for your help!

I also got a reply back from Powermate. No wiring diagram so apparently they throw bunch wires into the case and say now become a wiring harness that is connected correctly. How dumb they are that even their techs don't these needed diagrams.

I am sorry for not having made it back on here until now.  I really appreciate all of your help.  I can't believe that they do not have anything on wiring.  I am unsure what any of the potential missing parts would even connect to.  I'm going to try to look into the auto throttle setups on other brands of generators and see if I can find any similarities.

I wish you the best of luck. It is so frustrating when an OEM doesn't us the info we need.
