hydro-gear zt2800 input shaft pulley

Hydro-gear zt2800. Can not get input pulley off of input shaft. Hydro-gear repair manual states: Remove the locknut (122) and detach??? the fan and pulley assembly from the input shaft. After removing locknut I used a puller but no luck. What am I missing? The pulley is #51173. Thanks in advance

Looking at the style of the pulley it is probably just rusted on the input shaft. Probably will need to destroy the pulley to get it off. Most of the other style pulleys are a lot easier to get off.

On my Generic IPL of the ZC/ZD I don't show a 5.5" pulley just a possible 4.5" pulley.

Out of curiosity what is the actually full model number of that ZT-2800 from the hydro gear label.

Thanks for the reply. I am confused on hydro-gear's numbering system. The actual # is: zl gpee 3k5e 1fxx. Molded in the case is zt2800, but from the mod. # it seems to be a 3100. I get more confused as I learn more.
I have already destroyed the pulley. I have had the 'water reservoir' in the center of the pulley filled with p b blaster for 3 days with no luck. It looks like the correct pulley is #51182. I will drill larger holes in the pulley to use larger bolts and try again. Any advise will be appreciated.

I think they use the same case.

I requested an IPL for the ZL-GPEE-3K5E-1FXX from Hydro Gear. It may take a few days considering how things are right now. I will send a copy when I get one but at least we will what the correct part numbers will be.

Thanks for the reply. I'll be waiting to hear about the correct pulley #.

I finally got the pulley off by using a pic to remove the snap ring and remove shaft and then grinding the outer part of the pulley off and use a puller to get the center part off the shaft (Let it set in P B Blaster for about 5 days). Now I just need to get the new pulley.

After checking I had 1 digit wrong on the model #, it should be ZL-GPEE-3K5A-1FXX.
