Adding Anti-Scalp Wheels

Has anyone tried to retrofit a set of anti-scalp wheels onto the deck of a Husqvarna mower? A Z242F zero turn in particular?
Will this kit fit?

I have used two mowers with anti scalp wheels. It will still scalp the lawn, particularly going over a ridge, like from a ditch to the road.

Those are for a stamped deck on a regular rider that already has the mount holes. They can be made to fit but will take mods to your deck by usually welding them on and the person doing will need to make sure you have rear clearance and that they are straight.

Either way they are a good starting point a lot fabricating of the brackets is done. Welding will avoid you deck warranty.

I imagine drilling holes in it would also?

Yes it will. If you are having trouble with scalping either the area is vey rough or the deck is set too low. IMHO the wheels are more trouble than they are worth.

Thanks for the input. I rolled the lawn, it's pretty flat. Centipede, mowing at 1 3/4". Only scalping in a couple of spots, not bad at all. Some scalping also when I make the turn though. Thought the wheels might help with that.
