Searching for a new or used fuel tank. Have found they are no longer available. Or if you know of a way to repair it please respond to this. If someone has a good used one please contact me.

The saw was very popular and sold under a number of different names including Craftsman. Have you searched Kijiji, Craigslist and others?

Roy, would you know the Craftsman model number for this saw?

I have a Craftsman 358.355041 that looks similar to what I see when I do a search for that Poulan Micro-XXV. I believe the one I have is a 1.8 with a 10 inch bar. I do have the Craftsman parts book, the Craftsman Part number for my tank is listed as 10772 if someone had a cross over chart.

The Craftsman part numnber will be different because of the color but it should fit. You might find one in a shop boneyard to compare.

Local fb marketplace has a complete non runner for 15 dollars, freight would make it unattractive for you but they are out there.

From my 1980 2.0 Cu.In poulan XXV micro chain saw parts list it’s n 59.    part n 23819 Fuel Tank
Thoroughly clean out all fuel first
try plastic weld for repair
to do some plastic welding. The basic idea is to apply heat to the edges being joined in order to melt the plastic until it is liquid enough to blend the edges together. good luck
