Honda wh20x impeller removal on Honda gx160

Does anybody know how to remove the impeller ? Is it screwed on? I tried taking off the the side cover of the engine but it won’t come off TIA

It screws on, right hand thread so loosen it counter clockwise. Tie a knot in a piece of starter rope or sash cord and feed it down the spark plug hole to block the piston.

So the cord is used to give cushion to the piston @ TDC? or am I trying to stop the engine from turning while I’m hitting it thank you Roy for the help

I got it I wedged a pry bar in the starter cup and tapped in ccw.... thank you so much
