Subaru EX21 FI Fuel Pump

Hi looking for a little help, I have a pressure washer with the EX21 FI engine with a failed fuel pump.  I have searched this to death and apparently the parts are obsolete, has anyone had any luck converting to carb?  Engine has been great but is useless now without any further options.  Plan B is to put in a Honda GX200 cost of 550 with tax, I see the carbs for the EX21 are cheap to purchase Just need to know what else I need and if I'm going down a pointless rabbit hole?

Back about 6 yrs ago when these EFI throttle became a problem Robin/Subaru was replacing then with the EX21 carburetors. I don't remember exactly what all had to changed but the air filter assemblies on some had to changed out too.
 
I think the EX21EFI had the foam panel version and would need to foam panel version of the carburetor.
