How to replace an ignition coil for a Champion Power Washer.

Hey everyone-
I'm not getting sparking at my spark plug for my champion power washer. I'm thinking it's the ignition coil so I've decided to replace that and see if it fixes the problem.
The model number of the power washer is 75520: Here's the manual I found.
The model number for the ignition coil is 81200-ld29-0200 but I've not been able to find an exact equal. I did find this one.

The question I have is if I can't find the exact ignition coil will similar ones work?

Thanks!

Model # of the engine?

Should be stamped on the block.

I can't find anything (Parts diagram site) for that engine, a "ZONGSHEN"..

Good luck..

Looks like a Honda clone, doesn't it? Probably GX200.
I would look for an ignition coil for a GX200, and see if the picture is similar to the original coil. If it is, buy a clone coil. They're pretty cheap, so if you go wrong, you haven't lost much.

I ended up calling up Champion and they sent me the ignition coil as I couldn't find it anywhere else.  They said the original part was no longer being sold and they had a replacement for cheap.

Here's the part diagram.  It's part 74.

When you replace the ignition coil is there anything special that I need to do besides just replace it?

Thanks!

That's great you were able to get that from them..

Re assembly, make sure the coil is on correctly (not installed upside down from how you found it)
and set the coil / flywheel gap using a business card which works out to about .010".
This is done with the card between the flywheel MAGNET and the coil itself..

SRTsF6 responded a few days ago, but his message is for an unknown reason pending approval. Here's what he wrote.

Hey everyone-  I just got the part in the mail and am going to install it in the next few days.  I will let you know how it goes.  The part looks exactly like the one that was on the machine which is a good sign.  Let's see if we start to get any spark.

Update:

So I put the new ignition coil on the power washer and it runs perfectly now!  Thank you everyone for the help.
