Trying to match carb for Westinghouse Igen2500

I'm trying to buy a carb and think I have found it... but there is one difference. On the one I'm buying there is a hose attachment whereas on the original, it is closed off. Anyone know what that is? I'm including 2 pictures to show the difference. Do you think it will work and do I just block that port off?

Thanks:)

Where are the fuel inlet ports?

Seems the one carb points down, the other, ??

Doing doing some quick research, there are kits to convert the unit to propane... Possibly related?

The attached hose and clamp is the fuel feed. I read in an amazon review and it said this...

"A replacement for my SUA2000i generator was a perfect fit. It has an overflow pipe which wasn't on the original carburetor."

I'm assuming you could just leave the port as is?

If it is an overflow port, you could leave it but I'd run a line from it to the outside/bottom edge of the machine.

Should it overflow, fuel will exit the machine, not build up inside causing a potential fire hazard..
