Honda EU300is on propane issues

Hello all, hoping someone can help me out.
 
I have a 3000is, converted to run on duel fuel. I'm having a hell of a time trying to get this thing to run reliably on propane.
 
It runs like a champ on gas, but I can never get it to run reliably on propane. I'm fairly confident the issue is with the demand regulator settings. I have 2 adjustments I can make, one for high rpm and one for low. I've tried adjusting them, and sometimes it will run good with full power, and other times it seriously lacks power, or it stumbles to the point it starts back firing to the point it blows the air cover off.
 
So far I've checked or adjusted:
Plug - Good
Air filter - new
Spark arrester - completely clean
Valve lash - adjusted
 
Would anyone have tips or a procedure to properly set the adjustments on the demand regulator?
