Is repair in this case worthwhile?

I have a Cub. Cadet LT1045 that I bought from Lowes several years ago.  The engine is shot; water got into the cylinder and I am not sure I have all of the parts at this point. So, is it worth repairing when it will need 4 new tires and a new engine ?

Repairing (new engine) and new tires I suspect would cost more than you could sell the machine for once done.

Is the cylinder damaged or ??  Was it in a flood or just left outside?
If it spins over, what's the compression?

If you do have at least 100PSI compression (oil down the cylinder would help with a dry start/crank)
it may be worth your while to dig into the engine...

Might be a good fixer upper for someone if purchased cheap enough.

It was left outside. I was surprised to see that water had gotten into the cylinder.

Thanks for the feedback!
