Issue – Engine will not run. It will crank and just ‘pop’ when starter fluid is used.

Riding Tractor Model: Murry LT100
E1350 Briggs & Straton Engine.
500 CC 13.5 HP.

Carb Part# :592949

Actions Taken:

Machine is brand new - Used a handful of times. Fuel tubes are well vented and new.

Fuel is gravity fed to carb and filter is not clogged.

Fuel solenoid is bypassed with bolt.

When carb is pulled gas resides in carb bowl so gas IS getting to carb.

Brand New Spark Plug – Tested for spark so ignition module and plug presumably are good.

I have pulled the plug, and have not smelt gas as I assume I should.

Thoughts?

Have you tried spraying starter fluid into cylinder thru spark plug hole?

Than you - I did. I replaced the carburetor and it seems to have worked. Amazed how it can block fuel from hitting the cylinder heads.
