John Deere With Kohler Engine Died
John Deere With Kohler Engine Died
I have a little STX 30 with a Kohler CV125 engine. I was mowing a couple days ago and it died, and wouldn't start back up. I replaced the fuel filter, and checked the fuel shut off valve. Then checked to see if it was getting spark, which it is. I looked on Amazon for a carbonator replacement, but mine has some kind of electrical thing on the bottom of it.
I bought the mower used 17 years ago for $400, and it's been perfect. I definitely got my moneys worth out of it, but it's too nice to just sell for parts...even thou I've been wanting a zero turn for years. I've heard the consumer models don't hold up.
Should I go to the local John Deere dealership and see if they carry a carb for it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I might have painted the front end.
