Idler pulley belt route

Murray 465306x8a.
Drive belt broke and have replaced .
I’m stuck on how the belt goes around the idlers.
I have manual diagrams but they only show the belt front to back and a picture of the idlers but no description or how the belt goes around the idler pulleys.
Also not sure , at this point, which side of the belt to place around the pulleys , not flat or grooved side but the actual belt left or right.
Thks for any help

The flat part of the belt (outside), would run up against any idler / pulley
that has a FLAT SURFACE.
 
If the pulley is "V shaped", the V of the belt would go on that side.

Thank you! both pulleys are flat. I have that diagram but it only shows the pulleys and no route. Also can't figure out which belt goes around pulleys , left side or right side not the flat or  V side.
Wish I could have changed the belt before it broke then I would know!!

Start at the engine end, which would be a "V" pully.
 
Now get the belt around the transmission "V" pully. 
 
There should be a tensioner in there, (probably un-hook a heavy spring).
With both ends of the belt "accounted for", the flat pulleys installed, you
should now be able to figure out the direction.

I work on all types and models.
 
If you can, remove the deck(if not already), jack up the mower and snap a picture 
of the area where the belt goes and post it..
