B&S Powermate generator engine carburetor.

I posted this thread on the "Finding Parts" forum, but this forum may be a better place for this question:

I have a Coleman PowerMate generator it has a B&S OHV engine.  The engine model is 115432-0081-01 and the code dates it late 1996.  I need a 715139 carburetor rebuild kit that shows as "No longer available" or is about $90 on the parts sites that supposedly have stock.  Alternatively, is there a replacement carburetor for the P/N 715317?

I'm finding a very different part # than what you listed:

https://www.jackssmallengines.com/jacks-parts-lookup/manufacturer/briggs-stratton/briggs-stratton-engine/100000-19z999-series/115400-to-115499/115432-0081-01/carburetor

When I search for, say the needle, it IS available looking under that part # & doing a search.

Can you advise any specific part you need?  If the bowl seal is still usable, you can very likely
get by with just a good cleaning...  You can also buy after market bowl seals, etc on Flea Bay..

The carb p/n is in the listing for find number 125. You have to look in the second column and the p/n 715317 shows it is for type 0081. Thats how I determined what carb p/n I’m looking for a replacement for.

I talked to a friend and he suggested disassembling the carb and running it through an ultrasonic cleaner. I think I’ll try that.

Cleaning, especially with an ultra sonic cleaner is WAY better than replacing with an after market
Chinese piece of c..p....

One of my customers before and after pic with an ultra Sonic cleaner

Jets #142 and #17 ARE the critical jets that MUST be spotless and fully clear...
