Oil is not getting to the chain and bar, may be clogged.

Oh, how do I get to the filter mentioned in the oil reservoir?

Also, on your bar.  There may be a small hole where the bar bolts to the saw.
That hole leads to the track where the saw blade rides.  If that's clogged, you won't get oil..
 
Always clean the bar with a sharp object (dental pick) where the chain rides of debris.
And of course where the small hole flows to...

Oil is leaking out the bottom of the chainsaw, it may have a cracked case.

I emptied the oil and filled it with gas.
That worked, thanks, Scott!
It eliminated the possibility of a cracked case, no cracked case.
However, it did reveal 2 small holes in the bottom of the case that looked like someone had drilled them 
with a small drill bit and the gas was coming out of those 2 holes. I cleaned them with brake cleaner and
when they dried I patched them with epoxy.
I have no idea of how the holes got there but my son had the chain saw for about 5 years and I will ask 
him about those.
What I do not understand is how oil or gas would get down to the bottom of the inside of the chain saw to be leaking out of those holes.

I looked for a parts diagram of the machine and could only find an owners manual (PDF).
 
There would be a small pump that very likely runs off (geared to) the main
(crankshaft if gas powered) shaft. 
 
I'd think you'd have to remove the drive sprocket OR
cover (same area) to find the pump. 
 
A hose may run to it from the oil tank
(I guess it's possible the filter is attached with no flexible line) to the pump.
 
From there, the pump would (again likely) have a short hose to where the 
cutting bar would see oil.  
 
I'm very familiar with the Stihls, Echo's and the cheap gas saws.
I suspect your oiling system is very, very similar.
 
For the holes on the bottom, I'd guess someone was just kinda rough 
with the machine.. They'd be no reason to drill a hole in the bottom 
of the machine...
 
Hopefully the pump isn't jambed up with crap (not turning).  It also helps sometimes
when "bleeding" system, to put it in all kinds of directions to get the oil flowing.
 
You can do this (preferred) with the chain off but you can see where the oil should come out.

If all the case bolts are out, look close at any shafts (motor/chain sprocket) sticking out
that may have something preventing the case to split. 
 
It's likely not as tightly sealed as a gas engine, it's just an electric motor.
 
Don't force anything or it's definitly junk (once you find the stuck, now broke part).
Proceed slowly and "feel" for where it's not moving/stuck...

I was able to split the housing.
What a mess!
There were 2 hoses or tubes, one from the tank to a small pump and one from the pump to the outlet
near the bar/chain.
The hose to the pump had come off and there was oil everywhere.
I re attached the hose to the tank.
I will clean everything up and see how it performs then.

I need to replace the oil pump.
I can find nothing online about oil pumps
I ran the saw and nothing is coming out of the oil pump.
When I pressurize the oil line from the tank, oil comes out of the oil pump.
But just running the saw nothing comes out.
I cannot even find a replacement pump online.
 
Where is Jack when I need him
Anybody have experience with this?     Jack?   Scott?    Anybody?

There is no pump. I guess I was the only one that said there was a pump.
 
I am unable to sent photos because they are too big.
 
Anyway the saw runs ver good, new chain and I will manually lube the chain when necessary'
