Toro Z4200 Zero Turn Mower Won't Start
I have a Toro Z4200 Zero Turn Mower. I was cutting my grass today, and got off the mower to move a garden hose. It idled for a while, then died. I got back on it and it wouldn't crank the motor with the keyswitch. I tried it with the blades engaged & disengaged. After a little trouble shooting, I replaced the starter Solenoid. That didn't fix the problem. I can get it to start by jumpering 12 V to the Solenoid, but when I use the keyswitch, it the Solenoid doesn't close, even though I can measure 12V on the start terminal. I believe that there is another lockout, other than the seat switch & blade engage, that I am not aware of.
I have checked the fuses. There is a Relay in the circuit that might have failed, but I don't know what it does.
I need a good schematic drawing of the electrical system, to determine what is preventing the Solenoid from closing.
