Amsoil Saber Oil

I have been looking at the Amsoil Saber oil.
I have a lot of 2 cycle equipment requiring different gas to oil ratios. Most of them are the 50 to 1, but my Poulan is 40 to 1 and my old Homelite blower is 32 to 1 ratio.
As always I shake my gas can before I use it.
I understand Oils have come a long way and when a 2 cycle smokes it looks bad.
Now Amsoil has a oil that can be mixed at yes, 100 to 1 ratio.
Is anyone reading this using it?

It probably best to contact the fellows over on the chainsaw forum on the Arboristsite as they have done the experiments with this oil where the rest us don't the funds to be experimenting.

Now I do use a synthetic multi mix oil that my vendor sells but it is only list for 16:1 to 50:1 machines. I personally use it in all my 40:1 Poulans, customer machines,  and even old Homelite Super XLs that requires 16:1 without any ill effects.

Well, I purchased a quart at Salvo Auto. I spoke to the Amsoil guys and I am going to use the 80 to one mix. I will be doing this after my 50 to 1 mix runs out. I mentioned using the 50 to 1 and they said that it would be too rich.

Yeah seen this a while back on the 100 to 1 ratio. Amsoil is a quality company. I use stihl so 50 to 1 ratio. Let us know how it performs for you.

Because I am paranoid I purchased a syringe to measure the 50ml to the 1 liter of gas. I also purchased high test gas because it says they use less alcohol. Anyway, I mixed 50ml and then 10ml for a approx 80 to one mix.
Note the oil is very thick kinda like maple syrup.
I am just waiting to run out what is in the tank to see. Results to follow.

You are mixing very rich, 50ml in 2.5 liter of gas gives you 50:1. You are already at 20:1 then adding more oil. It will start hard, smoke, and carbon up the combustion chamber and muffler.
