Kohler Command 27 hp starving for fuel

I have a Kohler Command 27 horsepower engine on a Husqvarna 2754 lawn tractor. After the engine warms up it starts skipping and seems to be starving for fuel. I slightly choke the engine and it will run a little bit better for a while. Then without warning the engine will load up. The engine will sometimes load up with no choke being used at all and sometimes it will load up so bad that it will kill the engine out. I have changed the fuel pump and have also replaced the carburetor however the problem still occurs. I note again, the problem only occurs when the engine is hot. I compression tested both cylinders and they are within 5 lb of each other. Any help would be appreciated.

I see your compression on the cylinders but are both cylinders running?

I found the cause of the problem ... It was a faulty coil. I bought a spark tester and found the spark from one cylinder was so much hotter than the spark for the other cylinder. Even though I had spark it wasn't hot enough to fire the sparkplug under compression. A new coil and it runs great!
