Kohler Command 15 pro series

I have white smoke coming from exhaust and a small amount of gas leaking from carb. I replaced the head gasket last week. Mower worked great. Started up today and same issue. White smoke and mower shutting off. Help!

Did you torque the head bolts per specs and in the proper sequence?

I notice you say carb is leaking. So do you have gas in the oil?

Yes. In crankcase as well and oil pan

The carb is flooding which is causing your problems. Cleaning the carb may be suffice or you can get a carb rebuild kit. Of course the oil needs to be changed. Trying to compress the extra fuel may have blown your new head gasket. Good idea to make sure fuel tank is clean and replacing fuel hoses if old or deteriorating.

Head gasket still looks new. I ordered new carb from kohler. Replace carb, new oil, put head gasket back on, put mower back together and should be good?

Make sure you check the tank and the hoses. Also check to see if air filter is soaked with fuel.

Hoses are all good. Air filter good as well
