the wheels are locked up on this machine and i'm trying to find out how to fix it. has anyone else experienced this?

Put a piece of plastic over the fuel fill and screw the cap back on. Now tip the machine on it's nose and remove the belly pan. Have a look at the friction wheel, it should not be touching the disc with the drive disengaged.

thanks. i have removed the belly pan and the friction wheel is not touching. gears are still locked.

Then either a bearing is seized or something is jammed or broken. Should be easy to spot, it is a simple system.

roy, right you are the gear assembly on the small hexagonal shaft is frozen to the shaft. it is not turning. the bearing on the end of that shaft is also frozen and will not come off the shaft. i cannot thank you guys enough for your help with this. looks like i'll be placing a parts order in the next few days. thanks again
