110v to 12v

I have a B&S 8hp snowblower engine with 110v electric start. It is engine 12A107. Can I convert it to 12v start if I buy a 12v starter? What number starter do I use?

Here is a link to the starter diagram using the supplied engine model number. Edit: I am not yet allowed to provide links. I just went to jacksmallengines website and searched the engine model number and selected the starter diagram.
 
 It looks like there were a few different ones. It appears that atleast one of them was a 12v model, but does not list it as available. It does look like a typical b&s starter to me. Maybe a call to Jack's will get you somewhere.
