Service doesn't have minimum end gap but .010" should be a target as .030" is the maximum allowed.
 
Rings side clearance is:
• Compression Rings – 0.004” (0.10 mm)
• Oil Rings – 0.008” (0.20 mm)
 
Finish hone cross hatch pattern is approximately 45 degrees. To produce the proper crosshatch finish use
a drill speed of approximately 200 RPM and 40 - 60 strokes per minute. Lubricate hone liberally to prevent build
up on finishing stones.
