Echo PB210e blower check valve?

I have a PB210e blower that would not start until I removed the inline fuel check valve. It is definitely faulty. The blower runs fine now. Starts and runs well.  Do I need to replace that check valve and if so does someone make a fuel filter that incorporates one?
