Makita MAC700 adding pre filter or larger filter

Have a Makita Mac700 and want to add a foam style pre-filter to the air intake or a larger air intake with more surface area to handle sawdust and other debris. What type of foam pre-filter or pre-filter housing box with filter would fit over air intake?
 
Also, would the larger air filter assembly (170013-E) for the Mac 2400 and Mac 5200 fit in place of the Mac 700 Air Filter (170006-E).
 
Want to create a large surface area foam or other style pre-filter to catch sawdust and other debris but allow enough surface area to maintain airflow.
