Dolmar 7900 Busted Handle

OK,
I have a Dolmar 7900 I am in love with, it has barely been used, and while performing a dangerous cut a log dropped on it and busted the handle. I have been so upset about it, I put it up on my back porch and have not touched it for too long. I need to get that handle replaced, but it is considered to be part of the fuel tank, and I have not been able to find it anywhere.

Anyone have any ideas? Or am I just SOL.

Welcome! That is a great saw and well worth fixing. Unfortunately Makita dropped the line but somebody should have a 6400/7300/7900 to part out. Check with
