Ignition Switch Wiring

Good morning, Need help wiring an ignition switch to a Honda GX690-TDW. We are not sure what is the best switch to use for a remote switch or the wiring needed to keep the engine running. We have purchased a 5 pin switch and the coil and found some schematics online but no success, we can get the engine to turn over but will not keep running. Any help would be greatly appreciated
