Cub Cadet LS27CC Log Splitter Issue

Had a mishap on a slope and my splitter rolled and landed against a large rock and snapped the hydraulic connection where the control valve attaches directly to the cylinder. This is also the only support point for the control valve. The nut at the control valve side is 7/8 “. Does anyone know if this is right hand thread as I am struggling to loosen it with a heavy ratchet?
