new 11.5hp B & S wiring question

Hi guys, new to this forum. I have a log splitter that I am repowering with a briggs 21R807-0072-G1. Just wondering if anyone could give me a hand with the wiring. I have attached a pic of whats there. Basically I have a 2 pin connector with a black ground wire I believe and a gray carb solenoid wire. From the regulator I have a long red exposed wire that I believe goes to the + side of the battery. There is a black wire and a yellow coming out of the regulator as well. I dont have an ignition switch purchased yet.
Any thoughts on how to wire this?........pretty confused and no diagram/schematic was included????
